Our
instructors are all fully qualified to teach and are ranked through
the YKKF. Within the YKKF and at Brunel, obtaining a black belt does
not give you the right to teach, it simply means that you have begun
your journey within the martial arts. In order to teach many more
qualifications and attended classes are required. At this dojo each
instructor has been graded to the highest standards by senior ranking
masters from around the world and have attended and passed all other
relevant material required to teach. In addition to their physical
knowledge of the martial arts, they each have an in depth knowledge
of the theoretical side of the art, collectively passing written
examinations with above 80% averages.
