Power

by Lurine Cato

Power (by Lurine Cato) is our campaign song for #Project318 young people face challenges all the time but they are powerful beyond measure and all we need is the Light of Love to shine through.

"I remember when I was in depression, it really looked like there was no light at the end of the tunnel, I remember hearing people say 'put positive quotations on your walls in your bedroom all over your house even when you feel like it won't work just put it up and now and again read them.' so I put up positive quotations on my bedroom walls, in the kitchen, in the living room, in my children's room and it helped me so much I never knew that it would. I didn't really care what they look like on the walls even though they were pieces of paper with positive quotations, even when people came round my house I didn't care I knew it was to help me get through my darkness. when I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel, it was all worth it I now look on my walls after years of doing that some of the writing are faded but I know what hasn't faded is who I was always meant to be and that's who I am now, a woman of confidence, substance,  loving myself and walking in my destiny which I thought could never happen. Go ahead, try it!"
